Arbeitsgruppe Elektrophysiologie

Der wissenschaftliche Schwerpunkt der Arbeitsgruppe Elektrophysiologie liegt primär im invasiven elektrophysiologischen Bereich, hier insbesondere bei der Katheterablation von Vorhofflimmern.

Besonderer Schwerpunkt ist hier die Evaluation neu entwickelter Kathetersysteme in Bezug z.B. auf Langzeiterfolgsraten im Vergleich zu bisherigen etablierten Ablationssysteme sowie auf alternativen Energieformen. Im Rahmen dieser Arbeitsgruppe werden sowohl Patienten in große multizentrische internationale Studien zur Katheterablation von Vorhofflimmern eingeschlossen, als auch die monozentrischer Register und Untersucher-initiierter Studien durchgeführt.
